The sun is here! This week we have been blessed with wonderful sunny weather. Although the sunny weather is great I would like to remind all parents to please pack hats and sunscreen for outdoor recesses. Along with the protective outdoor gear you can also pack some extra snacks for your child or cold drinks. As the students are spending more time outside for recess and PE they are becoming quite hungry at recess and lunch! Thanks!If you have any questions or concerns please email me.

Word Books:
Today we had our first spelling test using the words from our "AB" Word Family List.
Everyone did awesome! Monday we will be learning a new word family so be sure to check your child's blue folder for new words in their Word Book. You do not have to re-write the words in the book, however you can practice writing them on spare paper at home. The book is only set home in order for parents to learn the words with their child and practice them at home.
Gift From God
This weekend there is no Gift From God homework, however please remember to ONLY complete the assigned pages for the evening when the book has been brought home by your child. Usually it is only 1 page. If you are unsure please check the blog or email me with questions.
Mother's Day Tea
We will be starting at 11am sharp, so please make sure you are on time. Childcare will be provided for those mom's bringing their younger children.
